Disney World

Well, it has been decided. We are going to start saving up for a trip to Disney in early November (?) There is a question mark there because we are still trying to figure out the best time of year. We want off peak.

Dex is in love with Mickey, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Tsum Tsum, so basically all things Disney! He loves seeing the characters and just being around them. I think it will be the perfect time. He will turn 3 at the end of December.

Now, we just have to figure out when the best time to go would be, what hotel/resort thing to stay in, what parks to visit with an almost 3 year old, what meal plan, and all that jazz.

Anyone been before? Any suggestions?

Went for disney marathon weekend (January) and stayed after the race was over. Parks were practically empty the week after the races. Also, if you’re planning on staying at a Disney hotel, they upgraded us to one of the premium ones for cheaper than the budget hotel I was planning on staying at, assuming because of the off peak time of the year.

We last went when Abbie was 3.5, and it was all about standing in lines forever for the characters. Magic Kingdom was obviously the biggest hit, Hollywood Studios was ok for a few things (think this is where we saw Jake, Lightning McQueen, etc), and Animal Kingdom was cool too. Epcot was not a big hit.
